Thanks Norm for the etiquette lession. I was not aware of the ships protocol regarding dinner at the Captain's table. However, we were invited because of the wedding and I am certain we will not be invited again - unless of course, we get married again on a cruise!

I agree, the cold food and slow service was the fault of the staff and I could not believe it was happening....I expected that the Captain's table would be served first and the service would be the best on the ship...not the case with our dinner. There were 12 at our table and more staff was needed to take care of the table. It left a lasting negative impression with me. Guess I should have not posted about my negatie experience. Often it is better to keep thoughts to ourselves. Thanks!
