I was not favorably impressed with Marigot. it was a fairly sloppy little town. The shops were relatively unimpressive and I didn't see any real bargains.
Phillipsburg on the other hand had some great bargains on gold & jewlery. It seemed alot more active and far cleaner than Marigot.
