Go ahead and dance the night away.
I also second or third the other posters suggestion that if you can share yourselves for a few dances with the ladies or maybe a couple of gentlemen who's partners don't dance it would be great.
My mother always told me that learning to dance is the best way to meet a lady and she wasn't wrong.
The only problem is that I have two left feet and no rhythm.
But at least I met a great girl and we can fake it pretty well.
