I too am annoyed at how Carnival is handling this. Of course medical emergencies happen and I would want to be treated well also. However I think Carnival should have a provision for this. They are giving us $20 but I have basically lost an entire day of my vacation. Using their logic, at $20 per day, I should only be paying $160 for the entire 8 day cruise. I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes, I too lost a vacation day from work. I have taken a day off that was not necessary, if the trip was leaving late. Carnival should make provisions for this, and they will be hearing further from me on this when I arrive on the ship. Cruise lines count on return visitiors, and this is not the way to get me to return. This is my second Carnival cruise, but if the best they can do is $20, it will be my last Carnival cruise.
