I loved the port days...everyone rushed off to shore and left the lounge chairs and buffet tables behind....worked for me! It always seemed silly to go pay for lunch in a port when they had such great meals on board. We did get off at Key West and wander around for an hour or so but that was about it. If you're racing around from one excursion to the next, you defeat the purpose of a truly relaxing vacation where you don't have to go anywhere. Just my humble opinion..... So, if you're idea of a vacation is staying on the ship, then that's what you should do with no qualms about it!
