Default Re: Which cruise line has the largest ship?

Largest Cruise Vessels:
The appropriately named Queen of the ships is Cunard's Queen Mary 2, entered service late last year. Around 150,000 tons
Behind that the previous champions were Royal Caribbean's Voyager Class: Voyager of the seas (1999) , Explorer of the seas (2000) , Adventure of the seas (2001) , Navigator of the seas (2002) , Mariner of the seas (2003). I have sailed on Voyager, Adventure, and Navigator. Adventure I sailed in the inaugural season, and Navigator on the preinaugural cruise. 142,000 tons
Carnival's largest class in service is the Conquest Class, which is 110,000 tons. Carnival Conquest (2002), Carnival Glory (2003), Carnival Valor (entering service 12/2004), Carnival Liberty (entering service 7/2005)
The largest cruise ship before Voyager, though, was Princess Cruises' Grand Princess, at 109,000 tons (1998)
Prior to Grand, the carnival Destiny Class held the prestigious title, as well as the first to break 100,000 tons. At 101,000+ tons, Carnival Destiny (101,353; 1996), Carnival Triumph (101,509;1999) and Carnival Victory (101,509; 2000) are the members of this class.
