I'm seriously thinking about going on a cruise with my husband and three children. This would be my third cruise, and my family's first. I'm very pleased with the size of the standard cabins (185 sq. ft). There's plenty of room to walk around, and getting ready for dinner, or for whatever. The first two times, three of us shared a cabin, which was fine, but now I'm stuck.
I think that having 5 people in a cabin would be too much. I prefer getting two cabins, one for my 13 year old, 11 year old, and 9 year old, and getting another one for hubby and me. I would feel terrified in having our children sleep in a different cabin that didn't have a connecting door. Do any of Carnival's fleet have connecting cabins? I've been researching, and I still haven't come across any that do.
I'm thinking on taking the Bahamas cruise from Jacksonville on Celebration, but I don't think they have connecting rooms. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
