I would not mind casual every night so long as it didn't wind up looking like I at mcDonald's. However - therein lies the rub - the cruise lines can't seem to manage their formal dress code, what makes us think they could manage a no jeans, shorts, tee shirt code? Hmmm?
I think what makes the most sense is the policy NCL uses on formal nights. They have 2 dining rooms, 1 is designated formal, the other resort casual like every other night. They do enforce that since we decided not to dress up one evening but wound up at the worng dining room. They politely referred us to the other location. Very polite and shazam! it made sense.
