'Steam Irons' are NOT allowed. How do you think these contraptions make steam? Something inside gets really hot, really fast. If not filled with water and left on they will melt the whole device. (I know the hard way
) Some of the newer models do have automatic turn off if not filled, or left unattended. But that does not matter here, as they are not allowed.
