I got fancy water shoes that are actually good supportive shoes. They look like running shoes but are made of a nylon mesh material and have vents in the soles so your feet are supported comfortable, they dry quicly and you wont have to worry about bringing 2 seperate pairs of shoes on excursions, plus stepping on rocks or who knows what kind of squishy things in the ocean wont phase you.
