We never had any noise problems from folks in the halls while we were in our cabin, other than hearing the guy in the next cabin snoring so loud one night he shook the walls
I brought earplugs (one of the best things to bring on a cruise) and didn't hear a thing. The only other noise issue was that our cabin must have been right above the casino and one night they were having a blackjack tournament. A couple of times my DH was awakened by screams and the announcer saying someone was a winner. Other than that it was all good. I slept great, but DH refuses to wear earplugs....his loss of ZZZZ's, not mine
