I've seen some
very bad reviews about the Red Carpet Inn (email me if you want the link).
We've stayed at the LaQuinta in Hollywood, FL. They offer an airport to hotel shuttle and a shuttle to the pier and we had no problems. The room was clean, the price was reasonable and the people were friendly. They also have a free breakfast.
If I were you, I'd definitely rethink the Red Carpet Inn
