Does it always stay at EDT/EST? No. On my May cruise, I'll start EDT...will end up PDT. So they'll change the times. As they will in your case. However, "ship time" might not be the same as the time ashore. Independent tour operators know what the the difference [if any] there is between "ship time" and time ashore. If there is a difference, they'll know what the start time is for you...and show up at the correct time
