Unless you are doing an excursion in Freeprt, the main thing to do is take a taxi ($5 pp each way) to Our Lucaya.
On the beach side, there are 3 hotels, (none of which do daypasses like the Nassau hotels do) and a casino.
There is a walkway between the hotels to the beach. (which is free)
Very nice sand.
You can rent loungers there.

On the other side of the street is the Our Lucaya Marketplace.
It has many shops and restaurants. (no Margaritaville though. )
Also has a straw market on either end of the area.

Do NOT do the ship excursion for this, as you are basically paying double or more for them to have a cab waiting for you. (which they are already there when you dock)

The ships dock in an industrial wasteland area.
(there is absolutely nothing worth looking at, if you stay on the ship)

It is a 15-20 minute cab ride to Our Lucaya from the dock.

There is a tiny shopping area just off the ship created for cruisers.
But the prices are double for the same items at the marketplace in Lucaya.
