I believe deep down inside, everybody loves the Disney idea. Yeah, yeah, I know, many people have their gripes about Disney the business, but we are all kids inside, and Disney just means fun.

Last year I stayed solo at a Disney resort. The rooms were beautiful, service was friendly, food in the restaurants was exceptional, it could not have been nicer for me unless I was 8 years old. And I met so many really nice people there, all were looking for a great vacation, and I think we all found one. There were plenty of adult activities. I can't say enough good about it.

I also love taking cruises and have been doing so for many years. Usually by myself. I meet nice people, I enjoy the shows, eat good food, see interesting ports, rest, relax and have a good time.

My thought was to combine the two and take a Disney cruise. Every review I have read gave Disney Cruises excellent ratings, never read a complaint about food, service, cleanliness, etc. I just didn't know if a single man would be comfortable taking this trip. I travel "during the school year" so too many kids is not a problem. I assumed mostly couples, single parents, families would be on the trip. I didn't know if solo travelers would also be there. As I said, I don't go to the casino, I am not a big drinker or partier, I'm not looking for romance or "cruising," I have always been comfortable on Carnival and Princess.

I am getting conflicting opinions (which is what I thrive on!). No one posted yet who has cruised Disney solo. I think I am going to have to think about this choice for a while before I make my decision.

Thanks again to everyone
