We lived in Arkansas and most of our vacations were trips to the Florida panhandle where my mother had a brother that we stayed with. Once we took the train and the employees went on strike at midnight and left us at a station in the middle of nowhere. We made it to Florida somehow. Most of the time my mom and I just drove down (well she drove). My dad always had to work so usually it was just the two of us. We both now live here.
