I'm with venice on this one! If you consider going to my aunts house in Pennsylvania once a year a vacation then yes we took vacations. This is why, even though we work alot, I take 4-5 mini vacations a year and try to give my kids some nice experiences/memories. I also tend to spend more than I should for a better experience probably to make up for the vacations I never had. The first real family vacation I took with my immediate family wasn't until I was 21yo to disneyworld. Sad huh!
