Default Costa Fortuna Transatlantic Nov 2, 97 $599-seeking cabinmate

Hello there,
I have been wanting to go on a Transatlantic cruise for sometime now and came across this price...$599 for 15 nights for an inside cabin. What a deal, but I don't know anyone who is willing to go for this long at this time.

Fortuna departs from Savona on November 2nd, 2007 arriving in Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 17th.

Here are some other pricing details:
Inside cabin $599
tax $47

My research for air fare shows that it's best to fly from Jfk to Lhr, then to Milan=about $367 coach
From there you can take the train, etc

Anyhow, here's some info about me:
Single, 38 Years old, straight male, college graduate, who loves to cruise and willing to share cruise with a cabin mate-STRICTLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF AVOIDING THE SINGLE’S SUPPLEMENT. It doesn’t matter who you are as long as you are a courteous, responsible, non smoker and not depending on me for anything else besides sharing a cruising experience.

I find that I like to catch a cruise more often than some of my acquaintances. For these reasons, I can not always have my friends or family accompany me, so for me the need to find a cabin mate is to pay the 'per person' charge for a cabin, as long as there's another mutually courteous traveler willing and able to pay their 'per person' charge for the cabin.

I cruise because I love this mode of a vacation and enjoy the whole ship, the entertainment, sauna, lido deck, numerous lounges, etc, ocean breezes, any destination, and not to forget the FOOD!!! For me, the only time spent in the cabin is spent sleeping, and redressing, etc. It's always nice to meet some nice folks along the way, or even nicer, to make a friend. However, I don't cruise with the intention of 'hooking up' with someone. I CRUISE because I love the whole cruising experience. For those looking for anything else, might be disappointed if they don't find what they were looking for...IMHO.
