Can't speak for your particular cruiseline but on our cruise, pics were taken getting on and off the ship, in the dining room, at the pool etc and then displayed every day along the walls for purchase and all to see. approx 5 x 7's were $8-9, 8x10's $20..they had sales so watch your daily newsletter. They had SEVERAL photo backgrounds set up every night where you could plan for a family photo session both casual, fun, and formal. No obligation buy them. Again, posted the next day for you to purchase as you wish. Reprintsl too! There were picture frames and photo albums to buy too if you wanted.

The only disk I saw for purchase were of certain ship activities. But there was a phtoo shop there to help you with photo transfers and prints from your digital camera and I am sure for a fee you could get your pics transferred to disk there.
