You heard the phrase "ya never know" - our last cruise was a last second booking and for the first time we had an interior cabin. I knew about the absence of time passing with the lights out, but at that price - what the heck. We got an upgrade to an interior cabin that was specified for handicapped cruisers but wasn't booked. It was incredibly huge ! especially the bathroom (extra space for handrails, etc) and plenty of space everywhere else. The OV and balcony cabins are great but sometimes the financial burden makes you compromise.
