My husband and I have always booked a balcony for the view. We love the ocean air and I like to hear the surf in the evening. Our next cruise, however, will be our first in an Ins State Room. I'm VERY nervous, since I tend to hate closed in areas, yet my husband is returning from Iraq and we felt booking two Inside Staterooms (1 for my husband and I and 1 for the kids) made more sense then 1 balcony suite. Privacy was key!
I'm sure we'll enjoy our vacation as we did the others. All in all...I'm sure the room doesn't matter all that much.
