You need to speak to your TA...I am a TA and most of our clients buy from a company called Travelex...since it sounds like your son has a pre-existing medical condition,you would have had to purchase the insurance within 21 days of making your deposit on the cruise. Otherwise,the pre-existing medical condition will not be covered in the event you have to cancel if he becomes ill before the cruise.It is a little complicated.Also,most of these companies do not allow you to cancel for change of mind.Just consult with your TA..that is the best advice I can offer to you.
