Default Horseback

We will be cruising the inside passage in June and wondered if there is any place to go horseback riding at any of the ports? Would the mosquitoes be bad this time of year in these ports?

A room mate of mine did the horse back riding in Skagway and would not consider it again. She was not allowed off the horse once the trip started and it was very slow and costly. This went along the route to Dyea.

Horseback riding in Juneau and Skagway. Skagway is the better choice. There is a horsedrawn trolley in Ketchikan.
