Vancouver transit strike

For those heading to Vancouver to catch a ship, the transit strike in Vancouver is still on. City buses and the seabus to the north shore aren't running. The sky train whcih goes from the harbor out to Surrey is running as are the north Vancouver buses.

The airporter bus is running. So are the hop on and off trolley and bus which are an excellent way to see the sites.

We hope it is over soon.

Susan....the West Vancouver blue buses are running....Not North Vancouver buses.

Thanks for that Fred. Its the blue buses that go from Georgia Street downtown, over the Lion's Gate Bridge to West Vancouver that are still running. North Van buses (that depart from the Seabus station and other points in North Van that aren't running - right? I live downtown. Where are you?

can you tell us how to go from robson street hotels to granville island on say a sat nite..if we stay til 1130pm how do we get back? thanks

Isacc....I would take a taxi.It's about a 10 to 15 minute ride....It sounds like you will be at Bridges for diner.
