Hotel in Vancouver

Need help on getting a hotel in Vancouver. If I haven't sent you a email yet and you would be willing to give me your opinion - let me know.

We have reservations at the Days Inn in Vancouver - relatively expensive (what isn't during "cruise season"?) but very close to Canada Place. I searched the internet and got quite a list. I'd make reservations ASAP, however, because all the motels fill up fast this time of year!

Thanks! We actually have reservations at the Holiday Inn Centre, but with the transit strike was wondering if we should get something closer to town.

We are going to be in Vancouver for 4 days, so don't need something right on top of Canda Place. We can take a taxi there the monring of the cruise.

Just hard to book a good resonable hotel off the internet when you have never been to the area before.

Look at the Renaissance Hotel - if you go to Seacruisechat.com they have links for Vancouver and they have a great list of all the web sites for hotels and stuff. It's a great site. Anyway the Renaissance has some very good internet rates. Don't know if you have AAA or an AARP (don't be offended please I am only 42 and have one through my husband). But using Seacruisechat site is a great way to find out all kinds of info. The trolley is a good way to get around and see the sights. When are you sailing? We are sailing in June on Radiance.
