SKAGWAY TRAIN-which side??

We want to take the Skagway White Pass Railway trip.

I read a post some time back that reffered to sitting on a certain side of the train for optimum experience. Does anyone know which side to sit on???

I know first of all it would be a good idea to be on the "inside". Now that I am inside do I sit on left or right??

It doesn't really matter which side you sit on because they get you to switch sides with the people across the aisle when you get to the summit.

It only matters if you would rather see the more "scenic" side going UP the mountain (sit on left side), or heading DOWN (right side).

The scenery side will be on the left leaving from Skagway. If doing a one way trip this is vital you get this side. From Fraiser sit on the right.
