What time does it get dark in early to mid August? We'll be there in 2002, and am curious. Thanks you!

I just want to know what time it gets dark in mid August. Just a number is all I need.

Hours of daylight can be relative if I don't know what time it gets light. <g> Can ANYONE tell me what time it gets DARK then? Anyone???

It appears that you did not read my post in "Hours of Daylight" before asking your question again. Please read my post in that thread. In it I refer to a web site that will provide sunrise and sunset data for anywhere in the world on any day. For example, if you want to know sunrise/sunset for Juneau on August 10, you just enter that information on the web form and it gives you the answer. What more do you need?

The other thing to realize is that Alaska is a very big place and is very far north. The sunrise/sunset times for Ketchikan are going to be very different than for Fairbanks. Thus, there is no "one-size-fits-all" answer to your question.
