Dolphin Jet Boat. We just returned from Alaska 8-6-01. We sailed NCL Wind and did whale watching from Juneau. We took Dolphin and booked on board. Cost $110.00 pp. It was worth every penny. Our Captin was RD our mate/Naturalist was Rick. We saw about 12 whales. RD got within 50 yard or so from whales.

Would highly recommend this excursion.

We recently took a whale watching excursion with Dolphin Tours, which we booked through Celebrity. We were very happy with the trip, and we saw quite a few whales.

Either www.alaskawhalewatching.com or www.dolphintours.com I have gone with both- just stay away from some ship contractors- Allen Marine 150 passengers. ALL go to the same area of Auke Bay with turn around at the buoy. Go with who fits your schedule- book direct for a sure thing. I recommend booking for soon after arriving in port- then you would have an unobstructed block of time for other touring when you finish the whale watch.

We will be on the Rhapsody in Sept and will probably do ours with Orca. They have a guarantee policy and others have recommended them.. Dolphin told me they do the ship tours.

Go with Orca Enterprises. I have booked with them and have also added a glacier landing through coastal which they arranged for me! Excellent, small company and Cpt. Larry is the best!

Orca Enterprises and Capt Larry do a great job. A lot of the naturalists from the ships do independenct tours with them. We had an outstanding trip with them.

Just returned from our cruise and booked orca enterprises from home. We had a great tour, and saw whales, eagles, and seals. The smaller group and Capt Larry will be hard to beat for 99.00.
