Default Anchorage to Talkeetna

We have 2 days to spend in the Anchorage area, is it worth the trip to Talkeetna to do flightseeing there or should we spend more time in Anchorage and take a flight seeing tour from there? We can spend more time touring Turnagain Arm and going slightly north to Eagle River Nature Center and Eklutna. Any recommendations for flight seeing tours over McKinley out of Anchorage?

Default Re: Anchorage to Talkeetna

Talkeetna is a 2 hour drive without stops. The summit flights from Talkeetna are supurb. But there are many flights out of Anchorage- request their visitor guide www.anchorage.net loads of operators listed. Be prepared, Anchorage flights are more costly.
