Default Luggage in Vancouver?

We are on the Ocean Princess roundtrip from Vancouver on May 12, and will arrive back in Vancouver early morning on May 18. We are taking the Amtrak train that evening to Seattle, and will have most of the day in Vancouver between disembarkation and the time the train leaves that evening. I have already checked with Amtrak, and there is no place to store luggage at the train station, so I am wondering what we will do with all of our luggage until time to head to the train station? Would one of the nearby hotels let us store it with their bell desk if we're not registered guests of the hotel? Or would there be a place to leave the luggage at the pier until late afternoon? Any advice would be appreciated!

We are doing the same thing on the Sea Princess in July. We were assuming we could disembark the ship, take a cab to the station and check our luggage for the train. Then leave and see the city. I hope we're not "assuming" too much. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, please let us know!

I got the following link from the Port of Vancouver. I also included an e-mail address for questions such as luggage. The last statement was taken from that link.

E Mail
customer_service@portvancouver.com

"For security reasons, on-site same-day baggage storage is available at Canada Place and Ballantyne cruise terminals for cruise passengers only. "

Good luck, having baggage and wanting to spend time sightseing is always a problem.

I would store my bags at Canada Place, that way you won't have to lug them to Amtrak and back track, using 2 cabs ( back and forth depending where you want to go) It would be a better use of time.
