dog sledding

I am interested in hearing from people who have done the dog sledding trip in Juneau. I have heard that the actual dog sledding part is very short and is a stop and go adventure, basically killing time until the next tour group arrives. Not interested if this is the case. Any actual experiences would be welcome. Thanks

Juneau glacier dog sledding is the most canceled of any Alaska tours. I haven't made it yet. Better is to go out of Skagway, friends went and did not have the experience you describe, claimed it was a trip of a lifetime.

What time of day is best to do the dog-sledding in Skagway? We are trying to plan our day there.
