temsco - dog sledding

Hello all,

I have seen this before but does anyone have the direct number to this company. Interested in dog sledding out of Skagway. Karen16 says this is fun but often cancelled. I am going in June of 2003. Do you have a particular person to talk with? If we do this tour, do we really get anything out of doing the Mendenhall helicoptor tour in Juneau?

I'm not sure if there is a direct phone number, but you can call the cruise line, they may be able to help you, since you can book the excursion through the cruise line. We're cruising on the Coral Princess and are going to do the dog sledding in Skagway also. According to Princess, you are flown out of Skagway into practically in the middle of no where, but there is snow.

I believe- the poster is referring to nonship tours? Anyway go to TEMSCO's web site- www.temscoair.com it has all your information. Having done 6 glacier helicopter landings- Mendenhall does NOT get the edge, only most well known. Any Juneau icefield landing is breathtaking- so don't limit your self to only Mendenhall. The dog sledding and glacier landing are 2 different trips going to different areas.
