Default Skagway excursions

I need help picking a shore excursion for Skagway and keep in mind I'm not interested in gold rush, small planes or adventure type activities. I'm considering, but open to other suggestions:

Historic Skagway & Gold Rush Trail Camp
Historical Haines City Tour & Salmon Dinner

I looked at the train ride to the Yukon and in the descrition they emphasized that I would not be leaving the train, so I thought that would be boring?

Actually the regular train run doesn't go to the Yukon but turns back in BC. If you aren't interested in the Gold Rush you won't like your first choice of the Gold camp. I would head to Haines- but also consider a tour with Yeshua.

I have tried to post this before. What i wanted to ask you Karen since you seem to be the expert on Alaska, would you recomend the 7 hour bustour to the Youkon. It is a shiptour Summit in May. Since this is probably my only tour of Alaska would I get to see some pretty scenery or should I do the silver gardens and city tour, what can you advice? Auguste
let see if it work this time

The train offers superior scenery compared to the Klondike Highway at the summit.

We're going on the Whitepass Railway excursion. It's supposed to be fantastic!
