There's still a ship there, which at 11:15 is unusual. I wonder who it is too! I'm not up on the looks of ships but what little I know, I don't recognize it.
The west coast has been having the wettest, coldest spring in 40 years. I hope it ends soon so the earlybirds get a nice trip! Weather.com shows it pretty chilly and rainy again in Alaska, except Thurs. and Fri. Early people get cheaper fares, but this year, unfortunately, probably lousy weather.
It's all so unpredictable there, though. I went June 26th, and it was lovely. Some friends of ours went a week earlier and it was cold and rainy and miserable. They wore longjohns everywhere, we could have worn shorts. It's fickle.
The Holland American Amsterdam was here today. Supposed to leave tonight at 11pm. It is the first of the season. There are a few more this week, then next week we begin in earnest. The whole summer schedule is on the local radio station web page: www.kinyradio.com.
