Default Last minute questions for RCCL cruise next week!

I have some first-timer cruise questions for our Alaska cruise next week on Royal Caribbean, Legend of the Seas.

Meals included--is it 3 meals included only or food whenever you want? For example, If we want to order late night room service, is this included?

Alcohol - is it cheaper to buy a bottle of booze on board or in port & bring on board (can you even do this?).

Alarm clock - I'm hearing the cabins do not have this? Can someone confirm before I go get one?

110v - assuming there are 110v outlets in the cabin for charging camcorder?

Cable ties - I've seen lots of comments on this but a bit confused. The cable tie goes thru the zippers of the checked on luggage or on all pieces(carry-on as well)? Do you find that it's worth it? I've heard of zippers busted, etc.

Thanks much for the assistance!

Food whenever you want incl. room service, although larger choices during meal times. In the caribbean they conficate large crates of alcohol when you board, which is always cheaper. They have automatic wake up calls that you program on your phone. Electrical plugs are fine. I have a colorful belt that goes around my suitcase.

Hi TC,
You can usually find some form of food somewhere onboard pretty much all day, plus you also have the option of using room service, which is free, but do give who ever brings it a tip.

Its true, no alarm clocks, but you can call for a wake up call, or even if you pre-order breakfast the next AM and have a set time, they will call before they bring up the food, so that you can do too.

Enjoy Alaska!

All food is included- dining rooms, buffets, room service. There may be an "alt" dining that may have a service charge. Be sure to have dollars for tipping room service though.

TC,

you are cruising "next week"?...I'm on the Legend of the Seas leving the 22nd (2 more days!) - you also on that sailing or on the one leaving from Seward on 29th? I haven't yet run into anyone that's on my cruise.
(It's my first cruise also, these 'mates have been MUCH help!)
