Saxman Village and Ketchikan city tours

I have noticed that all the independent tours I've found that do Ketchikan city highlights and Saxman spend about an hour at Saxman. Is that enough time? It sounds like there's a lot to see there, but maybe an hour is sufficient?

Is any ind. tour of the city better than the others? I notice that Sourdough is the only one I've seen that specifically says it includes admission to Dolly's house - do the others include that too and just not mention it, or do they just look from the outside?

Sourdough also has a tour that goes to both Totem Bight and Saxman. An hour is probably enough at Saxman, very compact. But there really is no need to book this ahead, unless on a very fixed schedule. There are plenty of ongoing tours available at the dock. Dolly's House would be a drive by on most every city tour- you can't miss it and have to go by it on the way to Saxman. The key would be a STOP and included admission- which I would suspect would only be included if specifically mentioned. The admission was $4 last year and an easy walk on your own if not included and you want to see the house. Lois of Classic tours gets the high marks for great tours in Ketchikan.
