We've never had a coffee maker in any of our cabins.....including the "S" suite on HAL.
My wife has come up with a great plan however. We order coffee to be delivered to the cabin in the morning. And if we happen to get up before the delivery time.............................I get to go up to the buffet and bring coffee back to the room.
that is what free room service is for. Only time we use it is to put our early hold us until breakfast order out each night when we go to bed for the next morning. Now Nobob?? not sure what that is, but I probably shouldn't ask.
Thanks for your info. We had coffee delivered every morning to our room . It was great. Nabob is a brand in Canada. Our trip was may2-9. The weather, ship, cabin ,service, food was wonderful. My husband was reluctant to go then did not want to get off the ship. We were on the Sun. Loved being the first ship. No crowds . Stores happy to see us. Met lots of wonderful people. Just planning either south America or Meditteranean next year. Pieceo mine
While in Seattle (Summit repo San Diego to Alaska) in May, we purchased a French Press and a pound of fresh ground coffee.....our cabin was one down from the dining room where HOT water was abundantly available 24/7. DH would run up stairs first thing each morning and return with enough HOT water to press 2 large mugs of coffee within 4 minutes! Now that sweet little press is tucked away nicely along with all our "must take" cruise items in our suitcases - ready for the next trip!
