Default Embarkation

We will be leaving on 7/10 at Ballentyne Port. We will be staying over in Vancouver the night before, so we can get there at any time.. Our ship leaves at 5pm. What time should we get to the port. What is Embarkation like?

You can plan on getting to the pier around noon, you should be able to board then. Just make sure you have everything that needs to be filled out, finished and have the proper identification and it should go smoothly. Depending on what cruiseline you are on, most have areas on their web-sites where you can have everything filled in on-line, makes for a quicker embarkment.

What ship are you on?

We also leave from Vancouver, and are first arriving the day of the cruise. Our flight gets in at 1:00. Our TA, told us we would have more than enough time. Our cruise also leaves at 5:00. Were we given bad information???? Or will we have enough time? First cruise for us.

Griffen,
If you arrive at the pier around noon, you should be able to board. Radiance is the most beautiful ship I've seen, you're going to love her. We will be on a sister ship, Jewel next Jan, can't wait!

Arriving in Vancouver at 1pm- should be OK, but it is much better to arrive a day early. You will have at least an hour to go through customs, get your bags and hail a cab. Then up to 45 min. cab ride. So 1pm may be pushing it?? Especially if any flight delays.
