Internet Access on RCL Serenade

We're sailing on 7/18 on the RCL Serenade of the Seas, I will need to use the ship's internet access to stay in touch with work. I'm planning to sign up for the ship's internet access. Does anyone know if you can use the ship's internet access from your own laptop in your cabin - or do you have to use the public computers in the ship's computer lab? Also - does anyone know the RCL internet access costs - by the minute and for the entire week?

If you take your own laptop, you can sign up for Connect@Sea, which gives you internet access from your cabin.

Do it early , at the Purser's desk, because they do have a limited number of connections.

I believe it's $100 for the week.
