Default shore excursions

I am taking the Princes cruise tour to Alaska in May 2005. Can anyone tell me what excursions I should consider?

I'm assuming Princess does the Seaplane flight & cruise out of Ketchikan to Misty Fiords National Monument. We did that last May with Celebrity...it was our favorite shore excursion of all time. A bit pricey but well worth it. The 30 minute flight takes you through 3000' sheer canyon walls, waterfalls everywhere, and lands on the water in the back country. You then board a beautiful Cat that takes you on a 3 to 31/2 hour cruise and gives you a tasty lunch on the way back to your ship. Saw a Grizzly bear and lots of whales. My sister and I were a little worried that the flight would be scary, but it wasn't....it was just spectacular in every way. The worst part was having to divulge our weight....our husbands thought that was very funny. Have a great time!

Please look over a shore excursion list and narrow down your interests. There are just TOO many excellent tours to consider in Alaska - way more than for one trip. If on a cruisetour- interior Alaska, be sure your Denali Park tour is no earlier than the last week of May- the park isn't open far enough before this.
