I haven't heard of this one, but perhaps in a similar vein ... I really enjoyed the Rain Forest Walk of Discovery out of Juneau. We had a small group with a great local guide. It focused on the development of the temperate rain forest with hundred foot tall trees that grow in the minimal material available since the glacier leave no organic matter and just bedrock. You see the forest in its various stages and learn about the plants and their uses by both plants and animals.
Where they go is up to the guide and no set place that I know of?? But it is easy and superior to rent a car and hike the Preserverance trail out past Ward Lake, this is probably the top trail in the area. For me- no $79 and probably x2?? is not worth it, my opinion only.
