Default yellow taxi in Vancouver

Is there a difference between black, check or yellow cab in Vancouver. Do they all charge the same. Thanks.

It will make very little difference. But plenty of cabs lined up at the airport if you want to make a choice. From the cruise docks- the cab lines can be significant, so you get the next one. But I suggest with long lines head upstairs to the Pan Pacific, tip the doorman for a faster cab. Key is packing light. Use a credit card for best exchange, rates have risen so expect over $30ca++
