You need to determine this your self. Look over a shore excursion list and narrow down your interests.

The most popular:

Juneau:
Whale watching, seeing Mendenhall Glacier, helicopter to glaciers, Mt. Roberts Tram.

Skagway:
White Pass Rail narrow gauge railroad

Ketchikan:
Float plane/boat to Misty Fjords, walking Creek Street

These are the ones I see discussed over and over.

A month to go and you haven't booked an excursion....lol. I wanted to get it paid for and out the way and we don't leave for another 5 months! We are going on a cruise however in June! The ones talked about above are pretty much like the ones I am going on. I posted a 'review' of the excursions I booked. Hope you have a fantastic time!!

These are basically the same whale watching tour, with the latter an add on stop at Mendenhall Glacier. Compare this to Orca Enterprises with their possible Mendenhall Glacier drop off, then you leave when you wish by just getting a $5pp shuttle back to downtown Juneau. Yes the railroad is the same.

Well, the official name is White Pass & Yukon Railroad, but it has all kinds of nicknames. And it's the only one there.
