best cabin location for Alaska cruise
What is the best location for a cabin on an Alaska cruise? I just booked a suite aft. Would a forward cabin be better? This is my 1st. time to Alaska. Thanks!

I loved my aft suite, but the balcony wasn't covered. Bummer when it rained. Other than that, it was great. Different ship, but you might want to check into that.

Myself and for MY priorities, I greatly prefer forward. But I am out on deck every sailing moment and my priority is for marine wildlife. It is necessary to have a forward facing full front view for the tracking.

Make sure you are on the Starbird side (right) and have a balcony!

except for the 2 days you are in open water ( which might be rough ) was there more motion at the front of the ship . i have always been in the middle of the ship with a balcony and felt very little motion , if any. i have learned ''the hard way'' to take bonine before i get on the ship to prevent sea-sickness. but i dont want to have more motion all the time if i can help it. but your cabin sounds great and i will be going again in the future so i will be picking out a cabin again. thanks |
