Default travel documents

We are cruising from Vancouver through the Inside Passage,on the Infinity July 10 2005 . When can we expect to get our travel documents? We are booked as a group of 12, our travel agent said that this is the reason we have not yet received our documents. Does this make sense ? Also, we have not arranged for any transportation from the dock to the airport after we disembark to return home. According to our travel agent, there will be plelnty of cabs available at the dock and we should not have any trouble getting a ride to airport. Again, does this make sense? As you can tell we are first time cruisers and aren't sure what to expect....thanks for your help....

You actually don't even need travel documents, I have gone without them several times. You should be getting them soon, however.

First off what time is your flight from Vancouver??? Cab lines can be VERY long at Canada Place. If you have a flight after 1pm- which I strongly recommend, and the wait is a mile long, haul your bags- (key anyway with traveling is to have quality rolling bags and pack light) upstairs to the Pan Pacific, tip the doorman and you will have a fast cab. Most take credit cards which will give you the best exchange, allow 30 mins. and cost at least $30++=ca

Zippy;

We are leaving on the Infinity on the 17th of July. Our travel documents arrived Monday. Another family we are traveling with got theirs yesterday.

Have a great cruise. Keep the ship in good condition for us.

Consider purchasing a transfer from the pier to airport on the ship. Then you can bypass customs.
