Default ketchikan flightplane

I am planning a floatplane tour in Ketchikan. We will be on the Serenade of the seas but would maybe like to book this independently. Which are the best tour operators. There are 7 of us and realize that we might need to take 2 planes.

Try Island Wings for a floatplane to Misty Fjords. I believe the plane capacity is 6. Split the group??? Do a GOOGLE.com search for the Island Wings web site/contact info.

I booked independently and met the transport van at the rain gauge in Ketchikan........just a few yards from our docked ship. Easy.

There are MANY excellent venders in Ketchikan. I have flown with Southeast Aviation, Carlin Air and Island Wings. The last 2 are single plane operators, I believe Southeast has 3?? But I do believe that Island Wings current plane can take 7. Contact directly for information.

Just a guess here, but I think a DeHavalind Beaver can hold more then a Cessna so perhaps a search on which company flies those could help.

I just got back from Alaska 3 days ago. We did a tour with SouthEast Aviation. They were very kind and accomodating. I think they could 7 people. We were 5 and there was room for 2 more. I highly recommend them. You can check out their website by typing in southeast aviation alaska.

I agree with sweets, Sea Wind does a very fine tour. Landing on the lake and going the extra for your comfort and viewing.
