Too bad you just did not fly right into Vancouver. Alaska Airlines has a number of direct flights now. I am leaving in two days flying non-stop from San Diego to Vancouver. Anyway its a 3 hour trip I believe. You might want to rent a car.

Or try quick coach. It's about $42 a person

There will be a cruise contracted bus, Amtrak, Quick shuttle and one way rental car. I have rented from Avis, Budget, National and Alamo. There is also Hertz, you want a downtown Vancouver return.

With a car you have plenty of freedom and is usually cheaper with 2 people. I usually stay overnight in Bellingham, 1++ hour from Canada Place, with an early start by 10 am. Then you beat the later border delays and get a chance for some Vancouver sights.

We flew into Seattle last week. We rented a car from Avis & drove to Vancouver. They have a drop-off downtown. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency & it was only a few small blocks from the Avis location. We did the reverse trip on the way home. If you choose this method make sure you follow the signs for "Truck Crossing" at the border, it is much quicker.

Have a great cruise.
