THOUGHTS ON TAKU GLACIER LODGE VS FLIGHT SEEING IN JUNEAU.

WE ARE BOOKED ON THE DIAMOND SEPT. 2.O6. wE KNOW NOTHING OF EITHER EXCEPT THE REVIEW OFFERED ON THE SHORE EXCURSION PORTION OF THE CRUISE PERSONALIZER.

Can not answer your question about the lodge. Wifw and I on our last two ALaska cruises have tried the flightseeing (Ketchikan) and got rained out. We hope our third time is a charm this September.
What I've read it is not to be missed. Planning on booking our own.

I have been on many Alaska flights, with a glacier helicopter landing my top pick out of Juneau. I've been to Taku Lodge and while the flight is very very scenic, having a landing is way superior.

I always book independent.
