We'll be staying at Pacific Palisades in August, and took advantage of the low price on the Entertainment Book(2-4-1 coupons )- we'll be there Saturday afternoon thru Monday afternoon, when we board the Island Princess. My husband is really wanting to eat King Crab legs while we are in the Pacific Northwest- any recommendations for restaurants closeby? (We are not planning to rent a car) We are meeting some friends at a restaurant on Grouse Mountain one night- I am leaning towards Aqua Riva for our other dinner. Thoughts? Suggestions? We'll also be staying in Seward one night during the land tour portion of our trip- is there a good place to get crab legs there? Thanks for your help!
Are you going to Juneau? There is a wonderful restaurant that is just down the street from the dock. I can't remember the name, but it's in an older warehouse type building. When you get off the ship, go left and stay on the side of the street where the water will be. You can't miss it. We ate there and it was great. There were a couple of people eating crablegs and they looked delicious.
If you're looking for a good restaurant, I would suggest Victoria Chinese Restaurant, which is located right under the Hyatt. Chinese restaurants are just about the only places where you can get "real" fresh seafood: straight from a tank. Seeing as you are from florida, I would expect your seafood quality standards to be quite high I promise you won't be disapointed. PM if you want the address.
