June weather

Going in June ( inside passage) I can't decide what to wear. I have been to the Caribbean so this will be different.
How to dress during the day? Of course I will bring a bathing suit for jacuzzi but how cold will it be on deck and sightseeing?

You will need to bring a wide range of attire, pack a few shorts, but necessary also is a lightweight lined jacket, rain gear, knit hat and gloves. Consider doing laundry to greatly cut down on bulk.

We were on the Sun Princess this past June (June 18th Sailing) and had 7 days of beautiful weather. We didn't need anything more than a wind breaker but we did layer our clothing as it was chilly in the morning.

We are booked on the Coral Princess for a Northbound on June 4th of next year and I think I might pack an extra sweater...

Alaska weather is forever changing so pack accordingly...

Weather can change rapidly. Wear layers, you can always peel off a layer if you get too warm. A small backpack can come in handy to put jackets in or carry souvenier shopping purchases. Take at least a sweater or sweatshirt, along with the lined jacket. If you can try to waterproof your jacket if it is not allready made that way. You can get camp dry to do this at Kmart. Take a knit hat and gloves, you will need them at the glacier(s) for sure. It gets darn cold even in June. We went to Hubbard Glacier this last June and needed all the layers etc.

I have cruised to Alaska twice. Once I took the inside passage roundtrip from Vancouver in the early part of June and the weather was very nice. Layering your close does help out allot.

The next year we took the Vancouver to Whittier cruise and land tour. In July the weather was not as nice as in June it was very wet and rainy.

Alaska is one of the most beautiful places to cruise.
